A young woman standing at the front of the Tea Party rally holds up a copy of the U.S. Constitution, reflecting the view of many that the proposed health-care legislation violates the Constitution.

Doctors publicly express their opposition to the Democrats' proposed health-care legislation.

American citizens were prevented by Capitol Hill police from crossing the street to enter the Rayburn House Office Building.

Despite the police line, a large contingent of citizens were able to storm the front of the Rayburn House Office Building, though most were denied entrance.
