Faces of the Tea Party Movement

2

IF MAINSTREAM MEDIA REPORTS are to be believed, the Tea Party movement is comprised of raging racists on the verge of anarchy. Such a characterization is ludicrous. Those who make such claims either have never been to a Tea Party, and/or they are attempting to deceive the American public about the Tea Party movement. The photos on this website accurately depict Tea Partiers as mainstream Americans.

Below are more FACES from the April 15, 2010 Winston-Salem Tax Day Tea Party. The photos do NOT represent the entire demographics of this particular Tea Party or of the entire Tea Party movement. However, they DO represent the congenial demeanor of the Tea Party movement.

It was exciting to attend this local Tea Party gathering. I saw like-minded friends, but the vast majority I didn’t know. The passion was the same for all—real change has to occur in our state and national government. We are educated, responsible citizens who want representation in Raleigh and Washington.
